How often do you hear about a decision in Cannon Township after it happens and think, “I wish I would have known about that sooner?” Has it been challenging to keep up on important township happenings, or know the correct time and place to share your input? Have you ever thought, "Could it be easier for me to stay ahead of what's going on?"
As a Trustee candidate, I am committed to making effective communications with residents a priority for our board, so that it is easier for you to find the information you need about local issues that matter most to you.
Here's what that could mean for you:
Provide new tools that make it easier for you to access local township information, so that it takes less effort to stay up-to-date on issues that matter to you -- including projects, initiatives or resolutions presented to and/or considered by the Board and its committees.
Promote transparency and trust in our elected leaders by making the board’s important fiscal and functional decisions more accessible to all residents.
More advanced and detailed notice of key moments for public discussion - with less legal speak - giving you the power to decide if or how to engage on an issue before it’s too late. Increased opportunity for public input to drive community-informed decision making by the Board.
Broad support from the Board toward greater resident involvement in the decisions that will shape the future of Cannon Township.
I look forward to the opportunity to support and grow this mission in Cannon Township.
